Colours of the Rain is an oversized atmospheric landscape inspired by the ancient lochs and rolling hills of Stenness in Orkney, where rain, light and movement transform the landscape into something resembling a watercolour painting. Rich ochre and russet grasses glow beneath a dramatic grey sky, while soft reflections of turquoise, sage green and blush drift across the still water.

Created using long exposure and intentional camera movement, the image moves beyond traditional photography. Detail dissolves into colour and feeling, leaving an impression rather than a record of a place. The result is painterly, lyrical and deeply calming, inviting the viewer to experience the landscape through memory rather than sharp definition.

The muted palette of warm earth tones, soft blues and gentle greys makes this an elegant statement piece for contemporary interiors. At large scale, Colours of the Rain brings warmth, atmosphere and quiet sophistication to living rooms, bedrooms, hotels and commercial spaces.
