Solid ceramic interpretation of Oscar Wilde (1854-1900), the celebrated Irish author, poet and playwright known for works such as 'The Importance of Being Earnest' and 'The Picture of Dorian Grey'. Wilde is often referenced in terms of his tragic public trial and conviction for homosexuality but will also be forever remembered for his sharp wit and flamboyant personality. Finished in a mottled grey glaze, this piece takes on the outward appearance of being carved from pure stone.

"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." (Oscar Wilde)
