Original artwork description:

This painting was inspired by the the winter fields of Zeeland, Netherlands where the onions are often left lying before being collected. Mostly I am an outdoor painter but this is a studio painting based on memory and with a few onions from my kitchen as "models"! The background is a typical Netherlands scene with the poplar trees on the dyke and the warm grey, pink and brown tones I have chosen reflect the evening light in winter.

This unique artwork is sold mounted and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
