Olympic Cockatoo (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Anna Burger

Olympic Cockatoo is an original acrylic painting from my Avian Olympiad series, a colourful contemporary collection inspired by birds, animals, movement and individuality.
The cockatoo is transformed into a bold visual character through vivid pink, turquoise, red, black and gold.
Rather than depicting the bird realistically, I combine figurative detail with abstract shapes, decorative patterns and rhythmic lines.
The painting explores personality, energy and playful elegance, turning the cockatoo into a symbol of confidence, curiosity and expressive freedom.
Created entirely with brushes on stretched canvas, the work combines smooth colour fields with detailed painted accents.
This is an original, one-of-a-kind acrylic painting, signed by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
