A glimpse into a simpler time. The harvest stacked in sheaths lined up in neat rows. Clouds are building to the west. Hanging ominously over the buttes. The prairie is wild and can be unforgiving, yet it is also home. One I love so dearly.
Created with a purple dioxide under painting. I typically use a burnt umber or raw umber, but decided to try something totally different this time.
