Original artwork description
An ethereal, spiritual painting, which started from a pencil sketch I did, based on an American Indian wood carving that I saw.. I then decided to incorporate marker pens and acrylic paints to bring this peaceful warrior to life.
I included my own mandala design for his necklace - as i simply love mandalas and what they represent.
To me this painting represents the art of stoicism in the face of adversity - inspired by the plight of beautiful, spiritual cultures facing evil invaders, seeking to steal all that is sacred.
Painted on A3 canvas board, so it'll slip into a standard A3 size frame of your choice once it's with you.
