Nasrin Sotoudeh is a lawyer from Iran who last year was condemned to 33 years in prison and 148 lashes, because in the practice of her profession she was bringing forward instances of defense in favour of all the iranian women struggling against the lack of freedom and respect in their own country.
I made this portrait on the occasion of the Women’s Day, last March 8.
The support of the work is a sheet of plywood coated with kraft paper.
Please note: for shipments outside EU delivery times can be long, due to certification for artwork's expatriation to be requested from Fine Art's Ministry.
