The work was inspired by a new relationship and emotions that appear at the beginning of a relationship. I wanted to capture the moment of getting to know each other - curiosity, excitement, uncertainty, but also a sense of security and connection. I hope that when viewing the work, viewers will feel emotions related to relationships and recall their own experiences.
I chose the medium of painting because it allows me to freely express my feelings through color, gesture and form. The topic of relationships is close to me and gives me the opportunity to show emotions in a personal way. I chose the style of figurative expression to keep the characters recognizable,
at the same time deforming them and using strong means of expression to emphasize the emotional nature of the work.
