Memory of Shape is a contemporary symbolic oil painting exploring the passage of time through colour, form and changing states of life. Layers of yellow, red and blue move into one another, creating a visual metaphor for innocence, maturity and reflection.
If I could describe age with a colour, it would look like this. Yellow represents innocence and the lightness of possibility. Red carries maturity, strength and the weight of experience, while blue evokes silence and the calm in which everything gradually settles.
As the colours merge, their boundaries disappear without being completely lost. The work reflects the idea that time changes form, yet leaves traces within us — a memory carried through colour.
