A memory is like a shadow of time that remains with us, even though the moment from which it was born has long passed. You can't stop it or touch it, you can only think back to it. Sometimes it appears suddenly - in a smell, a sound, an image of a place or the face of someone who was once close to you. It can be clear, almost tangible,
but over time its outlines fade and the details fade from memory. Still, the memory doesn't completely disappear. It is a silent meeting of the past and the present, a moment in which what has already passed can still exist in man.
