LU • ST (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Tetiana Borys

This is my favorite series about a city that undergoes a unique spiritual and philosophical transformation in each of my paintings.

In this particular work, the city emerges as a living organism, where the birth of each new day, its continuous movement and constant change reveal a distinctive strength, inner richness, and the possibility of new achievements. This story already continues in my subsequent paintings.

The titles of this and the following works begin with the two letters LU, followed by other letters and unfolding meanings. Two parts of a single whole, gradually unveiling the many mysteries of the city where I now live and pursue my artistic practice.
A city I continue to discover through painting and my own presence within it.
