2026 - " The Panagyurishte Gold Treasure "
SIZE - 100 x 100cm
The Panagyurishte Gold Treasure is a Thracian , ancient, gold set of vessels, consisting of nine vessels with a total weight of 6,164 kg. It was discovered on December 8, 1949, 2 km from the town of Panagyurishte, Bulgaria.
The set is believed to have belonged to a ruler of the Odrysian tribe from the late 4th and early 3rd centuries BC and was used for religious ceremonies. Its style and decoration combine Thracian and Hellenic influences.
It consists of 9 golden objects – one phial , one amphora-rhyton and seven rhytons.
