Artwork description
Longteng Bridge (龍騰斷橋) in Miaoli, Taiwan, was built during the Japanese colonial era and was damaged in an earthquake in 1935. Today, the remains stand among the the trees, participants in the natural landscape.
The black layer is printed from a woodblock, and the print is hand painted with watercolor. Each print in the edition is therefore unique. They are marked as a Varied Edition, and numbered "VE x/20."
