Original artwork description
Loch Leven is the largest lowland loch in Scotland. It is a fresh-water loch and has been designated a National Nature Reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest for its rich ecosystem.
The local pronunciation is “Loch Leavin” as in “Leavin' on a Jetplane”.
The painting uses acrylic paint on an archival canvas panel with border highlights in coloured pencil and added texture in acrylic marker. It has been given a final layer of protection with Golden UV satin varnish. I love the colours.
The picture is the standard size 10 x 8". Signed on the reverse with description and title.
