Karina (2026) Original Oil Painting by Stanislava Cherkasova

Original artwork description
An expressive portrait of a girl. She is delicate in nature, but with a strength underneath, the fineness of her features holds against something more resistant beneath the surface. I wanted the color to carry that same tension the face does: deep red, brown and ochre pushed against each other, warm but not comfortable.
