BOXING KANGAROOS – RHYTHM OF THE RING

🔷 MY VISION:
With this sculpture, I wanted to inject high-spirited movement and sports-themed narrative into my work, capturing the raw athletic energy and natural boxing instinct of the kangaroo with a playful twist.
The artwork depicts two stylized kangaroos mid-match, their extended paws fitted with round boxing gloves as they balance on their powerful hind legs. Their lean, muscular bodies are synthesized into fluid, kubistic planes where the arched spines, alert ears, and long tails create a calculated balance of tension and open space.
Through this radical simplification and a multi-layered bronze patina, I aimed to freeze a sense of rapid movement, strategic focus, and witty drama above its solid bronze base.
