🎭 GORILLA – THINKER OF THE WILD 🦍

🔶 MY VISION:
With this sculpture, I wanted to pay homage to classic philosophical art, transforming the immense raw power of the gorilla into a profound state of intellectual contemplation.
The artwork captures a gorilla sitting in a deeply pensive posture, its heavy head resting on its hand in a clear nod to Rodin's iconic "Thinker."
The massive body is synthesized into compact, volumetric planes where the broad shoulders and expressive facial structure form a calculated balance of heavy mass and quiet emotion.
Through this radical simplification and a dark bronze patina, I aimed to freeze a sense of unyielding weight, ancient wisdom, and protective stillness above its solid bronze base.
