Original artwork description
“QUINTESSENCES” COLLECTION
“Quintessences is a collection of visual chapters inspired by the places that have shaped who I am.
The central silhouette of a woman, containing a hummingbird, becomes a vessel of an inner universe where light,
lemons, and fragmented cities coexist with memory and emotion.
The work is rooted in a nomadic condition shaped by immigrations: the ongoing negotiation between integrating into
new cultures while preserving one’s own, and the simultaneous search for belonging, ancestry, and emotional origin. It
reflects the tension of being both included and rejected by the places one inhabits, and the quiet persistence of
building identity across shifting geographies. Knowing one’s roots and letting them grown in another soil, making the
whole World a home.
Inside the figure, these experiences are not narrated but transformed into color, rhythm, and spatial logic, where
multiplicity becomes a single, breathing image of perception.
“FLOR DE SEVILLA”
”A celebration of Andalusian passion and grace.
Inspired by flamenco traditions, the figure emerges as both dancer and flower—alive with rhythm, movement, and light. The work captures the expressive and deeply feminine spirit of Seville”
