Cornish wild roses
Appear to dominate,
In amongst the foliage,
Small wild flowers,
With the soft movements,
Of the sea and sky.
Words and feelings of this wonderful place that I experienced on holiday in South Cornwall-Portloe.
It left a lasting impression this amazing coastline and so many ideas for compositions, colours and patterns using my contemporary way in Watercolour.
I used a wet in wet technique using a large hake made of hogs hair for the back washes then for the detail of the flowers I used a pressing technique using Holbein Watercolour paints with a Chinese pointed wolf hair brush.
