Visions of Cornwall,
Winter sunset colours reflecting into the water,
Cadmin yellow, orange and crimson,
Clouds hanging over the horizon,
Atmospheric and calming ocean.

Original impressionist watercolour on extra rough cold pressed acid free watercolour paper bockingford 425 gsm 200 lb.
I applied the wet on wet washes for the sky and sea using a reflective light technique. Then I used my Japanese mop squirrel hair brush to introduce the cloud effect while the paper is wet. Used a dragging technique with a Chinese brush for the palm tree branches in the foreground and the ocean.
