Artwork in contemporary expressionist and figurative style, with a full-bodied pictorial material, dedicated to Saint Catherine of Siena who consoles a condemned to death, keeping her promise to stay close to him until the extreme moment. The Saint gives him a last sweet embrace with her blessed hands and it seems that the condemned man, holding his head on her chest, whispered to her: "Stay with me and don't abandon me, so I will be nothing but well, and I will die happy!".
