Made with Indian ink and sumie inspiration, the figurative elements come from minimalist gestures. Only the essential features are used to create the work. The shapes appear through the contrasts resulting from the different tones of gray and black. The vacuity (blank background of the support) thus becomes the creative light of our perception.

By using water appropriately on paper, the spontaneous reactions of the ink instill natural patterns into the different elements of the landscape.

Original monochrome work signed on the front and back.
Ink on Fabriano paper- Ink on Fabriano paper, 30 x 20 po.- in.

The drawing will be carefully rolled, packaged and secured in a sturdy cardboard tube.
