This watercolor landscape was painted in one of the most beautiful places in Turkey. Olympos is well known for its impressive antique ruins, the bay with the clearest water and stunning views all around. For my picture, I chose a view with cliff sunshined by the warm sunset. Mostly I like a texture of stones covered with wrinkles and clefts through the wind and sea waves. It makes a great contrast with calm surface of water, barely turned with ripple. The lonely woman hidden in front of the cliff enjoys the sunbathe. The whole view full of calmness and quiet harmony.
