Clean or Corky (2021) Original Acrylic Painting by SBBoursot

A man checks the scent of a cork after opening a wine bottle, as part of wine tasting and wine appreciation.

Painted with acrylic paints on a deep stretched canvas using a variety of techniques to create lots of texture on the face and hands, which stand out in contrast to the smoother painted background and clothes. Finished with satin varnish.

Sides painted to allow hanging without a frame. Pitons and cord at the back ready to hang.

This work has been repaired, which is invisible from the front. See photo - the tear was much smaller than the repair area covered seen on the back.

A modern and colourful style of portrait.

Signed on the front and with independently registered certificate of authenticity.
