Brzeginie (from the Elements - Water cycle) – water or coastal demons. According to popular perceptions, they were extremely beautiful and sensual. They danced on the banks of rivers or lakes on moonlit nights (naked or in flowing white robes; they had wreaths of water flowers on their long, green or light hair). These creatures attracted young men with their beauty,
and then drowned or tickled them until they died.
