Between Breath and Line is an original black and grey ink drawing on paper composed around two human profiles at different scales.
A larger figure rises through the upper part of the composition, while a smaller profile appears below, enclosed by a broad curved line. Long brushstrokes pass between them and continue through both forms, visually connecting the two without completely merging them.
The empty spaces are as important as the ink itself. They separate the figures while allowing the lines to move freely from one presence to the other. The work explores that fragile space between individuality and connection—where two forms can remain distinct while still belonging to the same visual rhythm.
