Artist's description:

Below the hills
Deep purples,
Light changing fast,
Hints of golden reeds,
A bog pool,
Walking along the trail.

Words and thoughts of my past experiences of Hartland moor in the Purbecks of South Dorset.
I know I need to see it all again.I often escape to this wild and beautiful place as it’s not far.Its so easy to walk and study the colours around me as I’m totally emmersed in nature when I’m there.

I used a wet in wet technique-dragged technique and a dry brush technique.Lots of colour mixing to create the depth I needed and leaving it to dry I go back over and bring out the reeds.Good quality watercolour paper Bockingford rough textured acid free 200lb - Holbein watercolour paints and Chinese bamboo brushes -Filbert.
