Before the blizzard
I was calm,
Sensing the air,
Feeling the warmth inside,
My brush flowed,
Starting off delicate,
Then with vigorous sweeps,
Dashing the muted shades,
Across the sensual fleshy pink.
These are my words and feelings looking across the Vale of Wincombe from my kitchen window before the snow blizzard appeared that day last Thursday 1 st March 2018.
I created this original watercolour with a desire for warmth and the special effect across the field was simply using a wet in wet technique and a natural happening on the paper.
