BASKETBALL PLAYER – VERTICAL LEAP

🔷 MY VISION:
With this sculpture, I wanted to capture the explosive energy of a vertical jump, transforming the dynamic movement of a basketball shot into a sleek geometric statement.
The artwork features a highly stylized, elongated human figure reaching toward the apex of a leap, arms fully extended as they guide the ball upward. The athletic form is synthesized into elegant, continuous planes where the strong vertical lines and arched posture create a calculated structural balance of physical tension and suspended momentum.
Through this radical simplification and a rich bronze patina, I froze a sense of absolute focus, high ambitions, and athletic grace above its solid bronze base. It explores how a minimal silhouette can project a profound sense of determination.
