Autumn Flight (2026) Original Oil Painting by Tanja Frost

I rather like this forest — it has the curious habit of making one look upward, as though the trees have been growing not only toward the sky, but toward our dreams. We may stand firmly on the earth, yet somehow our thoughts begin to rise between the golden branches, higher and higher, until an ordinary autumn afternoon feels full of possibilities. I think this is the sort of painting one should keep close: a little reminder that dreams have never been particularly good at staying on the ground. And perhaps it is time for this one to find a home where it can keep inspiring someone to look up.
