A walk with a view
Dramatic sky,
Late afternoon,
Walking the Monarchs way in West Wiltshire,
Atmospheric light and scattered clouds,
The colours of early March.
Words and thoughts of my recent walk last Sunday and managed not to get wet.
Original impressionist watercolour on extra rough textured watercolour paper bockingford 425 gsm 200lb.
Wet on wet washes and then pressing, dropping and dragging the paint over the wet paper. I often walk this area throughout the seasons and feel the energy, colours and beautiful hills that flow all the way across from the city of Salisbury, Wiltshire.
Materials used:
Extra rough textured watercolour paper bockingford 425 gsm 200lb, sable hair brush, Japanese mop squirrel hair brush, filbert brush, Windsor and Newton Cotman watercolours,
