In "11 sunflowers", the traditional sunflower motif is entirely reimagined through a lens of raw, rhythmic energy. Drawn directly from life, I captured these flowers which I proudly grew myself in my own garden. The number "11" in the title holds a quiet autobiographical depth, serving as a direct nod to my birthday.

The creation process was fueled by the powerful British invasion sounds of The Beatles, The Who, The Kinks, and the heavy riffs of Led Zeppelin. This rock-and-roll drive manifests on the canvas through urgent graphic lines and wild, untamed movement. Instead of a traditional heavy golden palette, these sunflowers emerge with crisp white petals, vibrating with sharp accents of emerald green and fiery orange cores against an atmospheric blue backdrop. Combining energetic brushwork with visible canvas texture, the piece becomes a vibrant, highly personal monument to summer's untamed spirit.
