Biography
Patií is a Brazilian artist and landscape architect currently based in rural southern France. Her paintings explore memory through architecture, light, and urban atmosphere, often inspired by places she has lived in or passed through over the years.
Working between observation and emotional reconstruction, she paints houses, façades, windows, streets, and electrical wires as fragments of lived experience rather than precise representations of place. Her compositions simplify architectural forms while emphasizing shadow, color, silence, and spatial tension.
Having lived between Brazil, the Netherlands, and France, Patií’s work reflects a continuous experience of movement and displacement. Cities appear not as postcards, but as emotional landscapes shaped by memory, absence, and time.
Her background in landscape architecture strongly influences her sense of structure, balance, and rhythm, while her painting process remains intuitive and deeply connected to atmosphere.
Whether portraying the vibrant geometry of São Paulo neighborhoods or the quiet light of European streets, her work invites the viewer into suspended spaces that feel both familiar and slightly distant. Which is, honestly, how most memories behave once they survive long enough.
