Occitanie (2025) Original Acrylic Painting by Patií Domingues

Occitanie was the first painting Patií Domingues created after arriving in rural southern France. Inspired by the quiet architecture of the region, the work reflects a moment of transition, observation, and adaptation to a new landscape.

Using simplified geometric forms, warm light, and controlled shadows, the painting transforms an ordinary house into a suspended and almost theatrical space. The composition balances architectural precision with emotional memory, exploring the relationship between place, absence, and belonging.
