Huis 9 (2022) Original Acrylic Painting by Patií Domingues

Part of an ongoing series of architectural paintings inspired by ordinary urban houses, electrical wires, sharp sunlight, and the quiet tension of inhabited spaces.

In Huis 9, simplified geometric forms and saturated colors transform a small anonymous building into something suspended between memory and observation. The strong shadow cutting across the façade becomes both structure and atmosphere, while the electrical pole and wires introduce a subtle sense of fragility and human presence without depicting any figures directly.

Painted during a period living in the Netherlands, the work reflects Patií Domingues’ long-standing interest in architecture, urban rhythm, and the emotional residue carried by buildings. The composition balances precision with imperfection: clean lines interrupted by paint splatters, surface texture, and visible handwork.

The painting is sold framed in a natural wood floating frame.
