Woods 2026 (2026) Original Watercolour by Gesa Reuter

This painting is part of a new series of woods and trees. Watermarks and lines and other watercolor effects are important to this work especially and keep fascinating me. I am using to them as a "language of water" and in these paintings, water does the work together with the pigments.

I also love small art as it transports a lot and you have to study it carefully. It´s easy to be impressed by big art but small art needs more concentration.
Also, it looks great to hang small works as a series.

On professional 300g watercolor paper size 20x20 cm, painting approx. 18x18 cm, unframed. Frames are only shown as an example what it can look like. Let me know if you need any help with framing!
