Modern painting of the stunning seascape of a beach near Fowey (Readymoney Cove), with its beautiful rock formations and golden sand stretching along the coastline.

“Windy senses” is an expressive, gestural painting evoking a feeling of wind and it's play on our senses. The painting is built up of veils of colour, scribbles and scratches. Broad, dynamic brushstrokes and expressive paint drips are balanced by rhythmic patterns, scratches and marks made with a palette knife.

There is a variety of mark making and contrasting areas of transparent and opaque paint all of which enliven the surface of the painting and convey an overall atmosphere of a windy day by the sea. It a moment when the wind is so strong
