I am a printmaker working mainly in collagraphs. I have a studio at home in Rutland and I am constantly inspired by the view from my window. My great great grandfather, Edward Kimber, had a company which manufactured printing presses in London around 1840 and I am lucky enough to have a Hughes and Kimber press of my own which I use for my smaller collagraphs. I love printing, the ink, the colours the unpredictable process....it is magical to me. I mask out small areas on my prints and use watercolour to add detail. My work is colourful but sometimes dark. Thank you for visiting.
