Where I Forget III is the final movement of a triptych painted in turquoise and pink — the colours of Mediterranean light just before it turns gold. Branches move across the linen like a body that has stopped trying to choreograph itself. There is no destination here, only motion.

I painted this in a state I recognise from dancing — when the room disappears and only the rhythm remains.
