Temporarily everything in our life! The day turns night. Joy replaces sadness. Water comes and goes. The leaves are swaying in the wind. And we are different every minute.
The work feels like a clash between a massive, almost industrial structure and a fluid, living environment. The diagonal layers resemble cross-sections of time or traces of wear and tear — as if the surface had endured pressure, erosion and movement. The work is both material and metaphorical — like a trace of human presence left in an environment that is gradually absorbing it.
This painting was made using acrylic and oil paints. There are small textures in the picture. This picture is ready to hang. The edges of the painting are painted over and this painting does not need a frame.
