Description

'Valour' is a vibrant contemporary lion painting exploring the strength, courage and presence of one of nature's most iconic creatures. The lion stands proud and watchful, embodying both power and composure.

The title 'Valour' reflects the spirit of the painting. Valour represents courage in the face of challenge, inner strength and the determination to stand with confidence. The lion becomes a powerful symbol of these qualities both strong and protective, but also dignified, intuitive and deeply connected to its surroundings.

The colour palette is intentionally warm, rich and energetic. Naples yellow and Indian yellow bring a beautiful golden warmth to the painting, evoking sunlight and the glow of a hot summer.
