Part of the “Mystery of the Third Planet” series, this work depicts an unexpected encounter between imaginary beings. Their forms seem both unfamiliar and strangely connected, as if they recognise one another from another time or place. Layered colours, lines and textured surfaces create a sense of movement, curiosity and quiet tension. The composition developed intuitively, allowing the figures and their relationship to emerge gradually during the painting process
