15 x 15cm mixed acrylic paint, spray paint and gold leaf on wooden board
Textured abstract artwork in a neutral palette - white and off white with hints of black, neon pink, copper and gold.
My paintings are built up with loose layers of mark making, pattern and texture. These unrestrained layers then give way to a more considered approach as I work towards completing the composition, creating a balance between positive and negative space.
These small original artworks are painted on 5cm deep wooden panels - finished with a layer of protective matt varnish and white painted edges.
