Two Views — One Vision (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Antonina Bormova

165 x 130cm / 155 x 120cm (actual image size)

£1,435.82

Intended visible image size when stretched: H 120 × W 155 cm (47.2 × 61 in); full canvas size: 130 × 165 cm (51.2 × 65 in); shipped rolled in a protective tube; signed on the front and back; signed Certificate of Authenticity included.

Two Views — One Vision explores the idea of perception and the limits of an individual point of view. A single perspective can reveal only part of the picture, leaving outside its frame everything that does not correspond to its own way of seeing.

Through two figurative images and the symbolic use of red and blue, the painting brings together two different points of view. What may appear fragmented or distorted through a single lens gains depth and new clarity when different perspectives come together. The red and blue elements refer to the lenses of 3D cinema glasses: viewed through only the red lens, one version of the image emerges; through the blue lens, another. Only when both lenses work together does the image acquire its fuller colour, depth and visual coherence.

The boundary between individual positions remains visible, yet it is precisely this distinction that opens the possibility of a broader vision beyond individual certainty.

The painting reflects on dialogue, connection and mutual understanding as a shared ability to see more than a solitary perspective can reveal.
