Original artwork description:
Trixie lives down my street and is a very friendly dog so it was a pleasure to paint her. I used a lot of cadmium red to capture the richness of her gorgeous coat. I chose a pale pink background to 'almost clash' with her colouring. I have always loved red and pink together as long as neither is too brash they can help a painting (or indeed outfit!) to sing.
This painting is currently unframed however I could arrange framing if you would like.
