Original artwork description
Triptych — Acrylic on Canvas, 100 × 100 cm Each, Ready to Hang
This serene triptych consists of three large one-meter-square canvases, painted with acrylics on high-quality stretched canvas. Soft pastel tones — gentle lavender, lilac, pearl grey, creamy white, and delicate warm coral accents — seem to dissolve into one another like colors hidden inside a winter morning mist.
The painting creates a quiet, meditative atmosphere. It does not shout. It whispers. It invites you to slow down, breathe deeper, and feel the rare silence that exists only in places filled with memory, love, and light.
The Story Behind the Painting
This artwork was inspired by winter in Ukraine — by those silent mornings when the world is covered with fresh snow, and somewhere in the distance, a family home glows warmly against the cold.
We remember walking back through the frost, feeling the crisp air on our faces, the smell of a wood-burning stove, freshly baked bread, and the warmth of our mother’s smile. This triptych carries that feeling: the tenderness of home, the softness of childhood memories, and the quiet strength of a heart that refuses to lose its light.
Created by V+V Kniazievi, a Ukrainian mother-and-daughter artist duo, this painting is part of a story much larger than canvas and color.
After the war began, we were forced to leave our home, our businesses, and our entire life in Ukraine, starting again in Europe from almost nothing. But instead of giving up, we chose to continue creating. We transformed pain, loss, and displacement into beauty, hope, and light.
And the world answered.
Today, our artworks are held in private collections in many countries around the world, as well as in museums in Switzerland, France, and Ukraine. Our art has received international recognition, including The Best Talent Artfinder 2025 and other artistic awards.
When you purchase this triptych, you are not simply buying wall décor. You are acquiring a meaningful piece of contemporary Ukrainian art — a work with emotional, cultural, and collectible value. It is a treasure created by artists whose story, recognition, and international presence continue to grow.
This is art for people who feel deeply. For those who want their home to hold not only beauty, but soul. For collectors who understand that a painting can be more than an object — it can be memory, strength, silence, and light.
By choosing this artwork, you also support Ukrainian artists, female resilience, and the belief that goodness, creativity, and beauty can still rise above darkness.
