Tranquil Wood (2026) Original Oil Painting by Joanna Farrow

It was so easy to be inspired by these stunning tall trees rising high above those surrounding them. I have emphasised the pinkish tones of the bark that create such a complimentary contrast to the surrounding foliage. I use mostly large brushes and cloths to move the paint around to keep the artwork loose and flowing. The painting can be displayed unframed as sold, but could equally well be framed.
