This photograph explores the relationship between form, direction, and light within the natural world. Emerging from a soft, shadowed background, the leaf occupies the frame with a quiet sense of presence, its veins and serrated edges revealing the intricate structure hidden within an ordinary surface.

I am drawn to moments when a single natural form is enough to create an entire visual landscape. Seen in close detail, the leaf becomes less a botanical object and more an exploration of line, texture, and movement.
