🎭 TOUCAN – TROPICAL MONOLITH

🔶 MY VISION:
With this sculpture, I wanted to explore one of nature's most eccentric profiles, transforming the dramatic and heavy look of the toucan into a calculated architectural balance.
The artwork depicts the bird perched confidently on a slender bar, its massive, iconic beak forming a powerful, downward arch that dominates the space. The entire avian body is synthesized into clean, kubistic planes where the texturized details of the wings and the deep, hollowed eye structure create a fascinating play of light and shadow.
Through this radical simplification and a multi-layered patina, I aimed to freeze a sense of exotic mystery, absolute focus, and permanent stability.
