Three White Dots (2025) Original Painting by Jacob Jugashvili

This artwork was created with alkyd enamel on 4mm thick plywood panel attached to wooden bars. The surface is coated with few layers of resin so its super smooth and glossy almost like a glass. This artwork ships in a wooden box crafted of 6or8mm thick plywood and the package weighs 8-9kg. The painting itself weighs 3kg. Ready to hang. The paint poured onto the surface of the painting is nothing more than a chaos, and my task, using the physical properties of the material, is to turn this chaos into something one would like to look at. I won't be doing paintings in this technique anymore, so this painting is the one of the few unique pieces left. I'd strongly recommend framing the painting with acrylic or glass glazing to prevent the resin surface from scratches, finger prints etc.

Materials used:

resin, alkyd enamel
